The challenge for Ruud Bos in designing the Angel chair for Kubikoff was to create a low cost chair with a high end design value. Ruud Bos states: “By introducing the new Angel chair, I think we have succeeded in making good design more accessible for a wider range of people.” Like architecture’s greatest talents, Richard Neutra, George Nelson, Charles Eames, and Eero Saarinen, Ruud Bos also is concerned with making good furniture design available to the masses.
