I look at my design in a more sculptural way (such as Noguchi did), trying to achieve clean pure design in a sculptural sense. My inspiration comes from the enjoyment I have when designing. On a more relative note, I am inspired by Scandinavian, German, Italian and Japanese design, as I believe they hold true to clean pure design. My passions are technology, travel, cultures, food, art and music."

In manufacturing, Brastilo employs time honored woodworking processes and time consuming finger joint techniques to create furniture that is fully finished on all sides with the highest quality stains, fabrics and hardware. The Brastilo furniture line uses high grade materials that are also renewable and eco-friendly. The wood products used in the manufacture of Brastilo furnishings come entirely from specially planted and managed forests located in the south of Brazil in the states of Santa Catarina, Parana and Rio Grande do Sul. Brastilo is proud of the recognition that they have received for eco-friendly initiatives. In fact, their parent company recently became one of the first Brazilian companies awarded carbon credits under the Kyoto Protocol, an important achievement and one that underscores their commitment to protecting the environment in everything they do.
