The Flex Lamp designed by sam hecht, 2004 for droog design, captures the essence of illuminating design in contemporary lighting. From a distance, this lamp may look rigid, but being made up of silicone, the flex lamp is flexible enough to be squeezed and twisted. A light casing is combined with the shade to give the appearance of one solid object; lamp included.
