Intending to combine and expand her knowledge and experience as an artist/ designer, Valentini has developed a body of work that is garnering national and international acclaim. She is among a very select group of designers' chosen by the Smithsonian Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum 2003 Triennial, "Inside Design Now" which represents the quality, range and vitality of current U.S. design practice today. She has also been nominated for a National Design Award in Product Design, 2003. Her work has appeared in galleries and museums in the US, Europe, and the Far East.
