Bertjan Pot was born 1975 in the
Netherlands and says " My main fascination is material and production processes. Everything is made out of material and in my opinion materializing is an inevitable but often forgotten part of the design process.
The Random Chair and Random Stool is created using epoxy-dipped carbon fiber formed over a single-sided mould. The result is a hollow structure which is not only extremely light but also very strong. Random Chair and Random Stool is the perfect contemporary furniture piece and a conversation starter. Bertjan Pot designs are both sculpture and functional contemporary furniture. Random Chair and Random Stool are best placed where the light will make shadows on the floor and walls.
